OUR MISSION

Here at Eastern Villages Empowerment Project, we are driven to do our part in making the world a better place. Started late in November 2020, our nonprofit aims at improving the lives of the Iteso people of Ngariam and Alengo villages in the Katakwi district of Eastern Uganda. So far, we have taken part in a wide range of activities that empower individuals and their community. We provided an agricultural retreat for education and empowerment purposes, completed a land survey to map out a water pump and irrigation system for 35.5 acres, and managed our first pilot on 21 acres. We strive to build a sustainable community capable of countering the effects of droughts and floods, and the ability to provide needed resources like healthcare, education, and transportation.
